Bill and Hillary's ideas are different and cause some problems for her campaign

This article is about how Hillary's ideas about ethanol are conflicting with Bill's ideas and there has been some controversy over this issue. I personally do not know why Bill is helping her when his ideas are sometimes completely different because that would probably hurt her more than it helps.

Alaskan village sues 24 oil and coal companies over global warming

This article relates that an Alaskan village is going to sue two dozen oil and coal companies because the greenhouse gases that they emit are contributing to global warming that is destroying their homes. They also say that they were mislead about the consequences of global warming. I think that the Alaskans have a right to sue these companies.

Vice Chairman of GM says global warming is "a crock of s-"

This article is about the vice chairman of GM and how he claims what he said about global warming was an 'offhand comment' and his personal opinion does not influence the company's. I think that what he said was just plain wrong and ill thought out because there is a whole lot of proof for global warming. Another thing is that when he says things like that, it still connects to how his company is viewed and how people will view his company. Anyway, he was just plain uninformed when he said that.

More news on the decline of world wide fisheries do to global warming

This article continues on with more information about global warming hurting the fisheries around the world. This could prove to be a very big problem for countries that deoend solely on fish as their main diet. Not having enough fish could cause the number of people without their normal amount food to go sky high. One thing stunned me after reading this article. These researchers and experts say that 'the recovery from the changes (in climate) we're making will probably take a million years'. That is very astonishing for people to say that seeing as we probably will not even last another 50 years the way we are going right now and not trying to stop the climate changes. I bet that when it is finally too late to do anything, people are then going to realize that these scientists were right about global warming and they were not just saying a whole bunch of crap about it just to get their names in the news. That is when it will really be too late to do anything and people are going to blame others and wish that they had done something about global warming.

Fish stocks could be damaged because of global warming

This article is about global warming causing problems for fisheries around the world and that the fish stocks could actually collapse. I thought this article was a little funny because it was about fish, but these people better find a way to fix this problem because I like fish!!

Lawmakers from smaller countries meet to discuss plans to counter global warming

This article is about countries like Brazil who are making plans to counter Global Warming by cutting emissions from industries. There seems to be some sighs of relief from hearing that all of the presidential candidates plan to make this kind of agreement, which is more than Bush can do. I will probably be very angry if the United States does not sign this new agreement that will replace the Kyoto Protocol, because we are one of teh big countries that is pointing out that global warming exists and we humans are a major cause of it. I do not know the complete reasons in why we did not sign it in the first place, but all I have to say is that we had better sign the new plan.

Rise in sea levels caused by global warming. (duh!)

This article is about some scientists in Australia who have proven that the rise in the sea levels of the Antarctic are not caused directly by melting ice. The rise in the temperatures of the sea causes the rise in the levels. I think that right now, people should be worrying about trying to stop global warming, and not in proving that many things are caused by global warming. We all know it is there, so stop trying to prove it exists and actually work on trying to stop it.

24 cities across the globe cut the power for one hour.

This article is about 24 cities across the globe that have agreed to participate in this years Earth hour. They are all going to shut off all power and electricity for one hour starting at 8 pm. I think that this is an awesome idea and that more cities should join in. The only thing is that they should either do it for longer or more than just one stupid time in a year. What is one hour going to do out of a whole year. I know other cities would follow this example bu they should do it more often. What do you think?

Could sharks really live in the waters of Antarctica?

I guess they really can. Global warming is the cause. This article claims that global warming may invite sharks to the Antarctic! This may seem a little absurd, but scientists have seen a steady climb in the teperatures of the Antarctic waters. For years, the frigid waters have kept predetors such as sharks from eating the marine life, but global warming is soon going to change that. If sharks do invade the frigid waters, the native marine life will not stand a chance. I think that this will be very bad for the native marine life and we need to do something about it.

More news on the replacement of the Kyoto Protocol

This article gives more information about the new plan that will replace the expired Kyoto Protocol. It talks about the ideas and goals that might be on this new plan. It also says that Japan is the country where the Kyoto Protocol originated but Japan is behind on its goals and plans. I think that this plan will be good, but they should increase the emissions cut from 5%.

Instead of going out of the country to talk, why not use a hologram?

I think that this is an amazing way to hold a conference or meeting that is located a very long distance away. By using a hologram it cuts the amount of carbon dioxide released into the air from normal travel. Although it is still in the works, I hope that scientists could get this going some time in the near future so that we may still save our planet by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide released into the air.

Arctic ice melts.

This article explains how global warming is affecting the arctic and how huge blocks of ice are breaking off and floating out to sea. This can cause problems across the sea as these ice blocks melt. Also, scientists say that the ice is melting faster now and that it has been proven many times that humans are mainly responsible.

This particular article mentions that the white house is editing the testimonys for global warming and other related documents. I think this is very wrong of the government to be editing documents that are not in their area of expertise.

A new plan to replace the Kyoto Protocol.

This is an article about a new plan that would replace the Kyoto Protocol. Officials say that in order for this new plan to work, all countries need to step up and take part. I think that this is a good plan, only if the U.S. decides to take part in it.

Warm water reefs are not affected.

This is very interesting that warm water reefs are not affected by global warming as badly as cold water reefs. This might be a very important piece of information for scientists who are studying global warming.

Who the United Nations thinks is responsible.

This particular article roughly tells the people who is really responsible for climate change and scientific evidence points its' finger at humans.
I think it is funny that the United Nations scientific panel can say that humans are 'likely' the cause of global warming when many scientists have come forward with evidence that humans are a major cause of global warming.

China's plans for global warming

I think that China has the right idea in making plans to lessen global warming especially since experts say that China will soon pass the U.S. and become the leading country for greenhouse gas emissions. What I don't understand is why all of these countries are making plans for the later years and not trying to make the change now. Now is when we need to make the changes, not 10 years from now, because 10 years from now might be too late.
